Lewis Evans
Founder & Head Trainer
Lewis is a dedicated dog trainer with nearly a decade of hands-on experience working with pets, protection dogs, and police K9s. Over the years, he has developed the Legio X training system — a structured methodology built on clarity, discipline, and real-world performance.
Known for his ability to tackle the most challenging behavioural cases, Lewis adapts his approach to each dog while maintaining a progression system that produces consistent results. His philosophy is rooted in building dogs like athletes — forging confidence, precision, and fight literacy through competitive play, resistance, and combat integration.
Lewis has trained and competed in PSA (Protection Sports Association), reaching PSA 3 with his German Shepherd, Ozzi — a benchmark that proves both technical skill and mental toughness on the field. Today, his focus is on raising and developing his next generation of dogs, Oakley and Hazel, under the Legio X banner.
Beyond the field, Lewis is recognised internationally as a decoy, seminar instructor, and strategist, delivering training and talks to pet owners, protection clients, and police forces. His goal is not only to train elite dogs but to raise the standard of the working-dog industry itself — through education, breeding, and the creation of systems that will shape future generations.
With unwavering dedication and a fighter’s mindset, Lewis stands out as a trainer who brings both precision and passion to everything he does.
With years of hands-on experience in dog training and care, Olivia has developed a sharp eye for detail and a natural ability to bring out the best in every dog she works with. Her focus is on building strong foundations — from obedience to daily structure — ensuring dogs not only learn but thrive in a balanced environment.
Olivia has been deeply involved in the development of the Legio X K9 system alongside Lewis, helping shape both the methodology and the client experience. Known for her patience and precision, she excels at guiding owners as much as their dogs, making training accessible, effective, and sustainable.
Currently, Olivia is pursuing her own journey into the world of dog sports, preparing her dogs to compete and prove themselves on the field. Her passion lies in combining technical skill with care and consistency, making her an essential part of both the Legio X team and the wider vision for the future of working dogs.
